Zolu Consult (consult.zolulearn.com and the Zolu Consult apps) is run by Wystan Health Private Limited, 4/1F New Kasia Bagan Lane, Ground Floor, Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata 700017, West Bengal, India. This page says what we keep about you and your child, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and how you can see, change or delete it. The app is for parents. Children do not sign in.
The short version
- We keep what we need to help your child: what you tell us, what you do in the app, and the consultation.
- We never sell your data, never show ads, and never track you across other apps or websites.
- You can change your details in Settings, and delete your account there at any time.
What we keep, and why
- Your WhatsApp number. It is your account. We send sign-in codes, reminders, links and your advice on WhatsApp.
- Names and age. Your name, your child's name and age, and the state you live in (for the GST bill).
- Your delivery address, if you add one, to post the 12-week plan's boxes to you. Each box keeps the address it went to.
- What you tell us about your child: the WhatsApp questions before booking, the questions before the call (like birth, first words, sleep, eating, screen time and worries), and any photos, videos or files you attach. These are health details. We use them only for your child's consultation and plan.
- The consultation. The video call goes live between you and Dr. AKA. While it runs, the speech is written down as notes for the doctor. The call is recorded only if you agree at the start. The doctor writes your advice from it.
- Your child's plan: the activities, your answers after each one, the behaviour log, and the games your child plays. For games we keep taps and timings. Some games keep a few seconds of your child saying a word, or a painting your child made, for the doctor to see.
- Stories. The story details you choose (your child's name, age, a cartoon face you pick, friends, a pet, interests) and the stories made from them, with their sound and pictures.
- Your voice, only if you choose to record it so stories can be read in your voice. You can delete it in Story settings at any time.
- Payments. Razorpay takes consultation payments, and the App Store or Google Play takes coin purchases. We keep the payment numbers, amounts and invoices. We never see your card or UPI details.
- Your phone, in the app: a notification token if you turn notifications on, and the app version.
- Visits: our own simple counter of pages and buttons, with a random visitor number in a cookie. No advertising tools.
Your child
You, the parent, give us your child's details and agree to how we use them. We use them only to care for your child: never for ads, never sold, never shared for marketing. You can ask us to stop at any time, and delete them all.
Who helps us
These companies handle some data for us, only to do their job for Zolu Consult:

Some of them work outside India. They may use the data only for us, and must keep it safe.
How long we keep it
- Your account's details, plan, games and stories: until you delete them or your account.
- Call notes: one year. Call recordings and the consultation record: three years after you delete your account, because Indian medical rules ask doctors to keep patient records.
- Payments and invoices: eight years, because tax law asks for it.
- Sign-in codes: one day. Visit counts: 90 days. Notifications sent: 180 days.
Watch stories
A Watch story plays from its own link. Anyone who has the link can watch it, so share it only with family.
Your rights
- See and correct: your names, age and address are in the app's Settings. For anything else, write to us.
- Delete: in the app, Settings, then Delete my account. Or see how to delete your account.
- Take back a choice: delete your recorded voice in Story settings, or turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
- Complain: write to our grievance officer below. We answer within 7 days. You may also go to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels encrypted and is stored in private storage that only our team can open. Only Dr. AKA and the team helping your family see your child's details.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or on WhatsApp when the change matters.
